About Me

In 1991, I joined the Air Force where I served four years as a telecommunications technician at the Dept. of Defense in Washington D.C., holding a TS/SCI clearance.
I was awarded an Air Force Meritorious Award for my work writing training plans for a joint-military (Air Force, Army, and Marines) telecom facility in the Pentagon) and honorably discharged in ’95, after which I moved to Atlanta and continued working in telecom, becoming a telecom engineer and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE +I).

Having worked as a Technical Writer and Trainer, and finding I liked it, I returned to college in 2002, earned my B.S. in Communications (PR & Marketing) and have worked in (primarily) B2B Marketing and Communications since 2004.

Since I was a wee lad, I’ve stayed busy. Today, if there’s daylight, I’m probably working on a DIY project around the house, exercising, trying to find a spot to plant yet another green thing, or walking our Rhodesian Ridgeback.

When I’m not being productive, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my spouse and our three children, two of whom are in college, and our third still in high school.
